A stellar evening

Well last night I sewed stars and got one wrong but tonight I unpicked and resewed and this time I did it right!  AND I LOVE the way these stars look together!
I think I need to make another few and I will have enough for a quilt.  I only want to make a small one so that I can get it quilted and laundered as I am dying to see how the cream recycled curtain fabric washes up.  I have so much of it to use.

Till next time......happy stitching!

  1. these look great. so just 5 white ones left? how big are the blocks? and the triangle part for the star tips, I assume it is a square sewn on on a diagonal and then cut off the seam allowance?
